How Do I Set Up a New Email Account
in Outlook Express?
1. From the menu at the top, click on "Tools" and then "Accounts."
2. Then, on the right side of the box, click on "Add" and the "Mail."

3. Enter the name you want people to see when they get an email from you.
4. Enter your full email address
5. Enter your email servers as provided by your email provider. Almost all will use POP3. The name of of the server could look like mail.jimbits.com or pop.jimbits.com or smtp.jimbits.com. Follow the instructions given by your email provider.
6. Enter your username and password, as provided by your email provider.
7. Enter the way you connect to the internet, either dialup phone connection or highspeed (LAN) or you can enter your connection settings manually.
8. As it says, you should now be finished and the email account should work on your system.
